Welcome to the Library
OUR LIBRARY The school library program serves to instill a love of reading, inspire life-long learning, and foster independent library use. Students visit once a week with their class to check out materials. The library is an inviting
space where students may acquire knowledge and gain insight; a welcoming haven where children may seek respite from a demanding day; a stimulating place where they may open books and open their minds for a better tomorrow.
Our library serves students from 3-16 years of age. Our goal is to nurture a genuine love of reading while using our space as a flexible learning commons that supports research and technology.
At the moment the Library at AAGE is not only an area where students come to choose a book. Additionally, it is starting to serve as a study corner. Students appreciate the atmosphere and use the space as a "hang out" spot. Of course we make sure that this will not interrupt the learning of others.

The New Library
Dear Parents,
The library has undergone a lot of changes in the past year. The "oh's and ah's told us that the students were really surprised and happy with this new look. We have more space for books, and also more space for the younger classes to have their reading hour in the library. In addition we were able to create a 'study corner' for MYP students. They can come in during and after school to do some homework or research. We are continually growing our book collection.
